I remembered a funny episode from high school today and it made me embarrassed, but I will re-tell it here. Sophomore year, none of my friends nor myself had boyfriends, and we were feeling pretty anti-V-day (which is really silly). So what we decided to do, being high school girl fuckheads, was to wear black to school on Valentine's Day. We didn't look like shitty goths or anything, but still. Then, that night, we all watched the Vagina Monologues at my friend's house. That's the way to stick it to 'em!
That being said: I LOVE Valentine's Day! I think all the white and pink and red is so pretty, and I love the hearts everywhere. And even if it is a Hallmark Holiday, there's nothing wrong with celebrating lovin', is there?
I'm so happy I have a Valentine-colored cat. I just want to out a huge red bow on her!!
